Linda Bournane Engelberth (born in 1977) is a Norwegian-Algerian artist based in Oslo. She holds a advanced craft certificate in photography and a BA in History of Art. She has had a number of exhibitions all over the world. Selected exhibitons are Die Haus der Photographie, Deichtorhallen, Hamburg, Fotogalerie Wien, Spriten Kunsthall in Skien, among several other exhibitions in Norway, the US and Europe. Engelberth's work is characterized by its own calm and aesthetics, while the content of her work focuses on identity through personal and subjective narratives, as well as rural communities which are in flux. Engelberth has won several awards for her photography. She is represented by VII Photo Agency, in New York.
